The RRF Support for Community Action Programme (SCAP)

The Supporting Community Action Project, a  3 year initiative commissioned by the Northern Rock Foundation, has been established by the RRF in order to help each refugee community organisation in the North East.

• Develop a new project

• Set up new activities

• Plan a campaign

• Provide a quality service

• Action plan

• Obtain funding to support your work

• Help with funding applications

• Write reports and publicise your activities

• Celebrate or raise awareness through music, dance, drama and visual art

 We will do this through:

• Intensive one to one support from the SCAP Team staff

• A flexible and responsive service, working at your pace

• Action orientated support

• Listening and responding to your needs

• Tailored learning modules/knowledge packages

• Arranging learning visits to other projects in the region or across the UK

• Outreach visits to your group

• Appropriate signposting to other agencies
