Aims & objectives/Mission statement

The organisation was set up since 2006.

The Charity’s objects (“the objects”) are:

Golgotha assembly is a non-affiliated congregation and its main objectives are to worship the Lord in Tigrinya (Eritrean) language and to reach members of our community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Assembly also has the following aims and objectives:

  • To provide culturally sensitive counselling
  • To provide relief for members and their dependants that are in condition of needs, hardship and/or distress
  •  To help members integrate with the British society
  • To fill services gaps not provided by local authorities in terms of offering support and information   (advise)

Why the organisation was set up?

The organisation was set up to cater the spiritual and psychological  needs of the Tigrinyan speaking population in the north east as well the aims mentioned above.
