Linking Women of Africa

Linking Women of Africa

Aims & objectives/Mission statement

The organisation was constituted in April 2007.

Our aims:

  • To provide information, advice and training to African women living in Newcastle west-end.
  • To raise awareness about services available to them
  • To promote their interest and well being

Our mission is to help African women to develop skills and confidence enabling them to become more independent and participate fully in the society.

Why the organisation was set up?

From many difficulties and obstacles encountered on accessing information, advice, training, when we first arrived in the United Kingdom. Through our different gathering we realised that African womens do not have a place where they can meet, talk, share experience or improve their skills
