The organisation was set up since July 2008
The aims of the organisation are:
- To rpovide help, support and relief to all BME (Black Minority Ethnic) community and their dependants in general and in particular to those from Africa in the Tees Valley and surroundings, who are in need, hardship or distress
- To preserve and protect the physical and mental health of those Africans and their dependants
- To help achieve education and training of Africans and their dependants, enabling them to settle down in the area or help their integration in their adoptive society
- To help achieve sports activities for the members and their dependants
